Capital ID doubles turnover and triples profit

The year 2006 was very successful for Capital ID, specialist in the automation of marketing processes. Just like in the two preceding years the company doubled its turnover. Profit has even been tripled. In 2007, when Capital ID will celebrate its fifth anniversary, the growth is expected to continue even stronger.

In 2006 Capital ID realised a growth in turnover of 100 percent for the third year in a row. With its ID manager software, the company is market leader in the Netherlands in the area of Marketing Resource Management (MRM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM). The interest in ID manager is increasing, as proven by the extended customer base in 2006. Almost all Dutch insurance companies and colleges and various banks, temporary employment agencies and ICT organisations use the software for the automation of their marketing processes. In 2006 Capital ID also deployed various international implementations.

The expectations for 2007 are also high. Dennis Steen, commercial director at Capital ID: "The positive trend will certainly continue. We notice that the interest in Marketing Resource Management is increasing. In the US, the advantages concerning marketing process optimisation, resulting in cost savings and efficiency improvements, have been generally known for years. Fortunately the notion is now also slowly penetrating in the Netherlands and Europe. Capital ID's leading position, both nationally and internationally, is proven by the fact that Gartner will follow us in 2007. But the competition is increasing. Large parties like SAP, Oracle and Siebel are now moving onto the Marketing Resource Management market in addition to their CRM strategies."

Capital ID was founded in 2002 by Dennis Steen, Marc van Ballegooijen and Andrey Prins. Thanks to their joint expertise Capital ID has become the successful company it is today. Steen used to be a partner of a PR agency, commercial director at Insite, board member at Devote N.V. and commercial director at Ordina. Van Ballegooijen has a commercial and financial background. He worked for Mergers & Acquisitions Rabobank and was director of different companies. Prins has an ICT background; he used to be technical director of Insite BV and Devote Zwolle. During Capital ID's five year's existence its workforce has increased considerably. In 2006 the number of employees more than doubled (from 15 FTE to 36 FTE). It is expected that in 2007 the workforce will also double, at the least.
